The Worldwide Association of Female Professionals Recognizes Kavi Ali, MD

 
Dr. Kavi Ali is a medical doctor at South-West Regional Health Authority, the primary trauma unit for southwestern Trinidad. With over 7 years of experience in her field, she oversees the treatment of accident and emergency patients, treats critical patients, and ensures the safe and timely dosage of myriad medications to the people in her care.
 
Passionate about helping people, Kavi earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of the West Indies, class of 2005. She is known for her expertise in acute medical services and delivering a high quality of treatment, and remains always focused on the job at hand.
 
Outside of her work at the hospital, Kavi is featured speaker at women’s groups and community outreach events. She hopes to promote education and encourage other medical professionals, and looking ahead plans to diversify and branch into the administration side of medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, sports and travel, and volunteers as a physician for the football and cricket teams.
