Human Resources Generalist Carla Sotomayor has been with Skechers Peru for the past 2 years. Highly team-oriented and able to produce real, lasting results, she has a track record of adding value and increasing the performance not only of staff of business within multicultural companies. With over a decade of experience in her field, she is well-versed in the service, retail, hotel and consulting industries. She is known for her experience and knowledge of recruitment and selection, culture and communications, as well as development, learning and education, payroll review, building the budget of the staff cost, key talents and secondments.
 
After earning bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration from the Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, Carla earned a master’s degree in Strategic Management of the Human Factor, Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas. Her certifications are vast and include Ontological Coaching, Human Resources, Point of You Trainer, and Executive Coaching.
 
Outside of her work for Skechers, Carla is deeply involved with an organization that serves in hospitals, nursing homes, and places in need, bringing joy to young and old patients as a Hospital clown. She is passionate about cheering and entertaining the children and old people and enjoys giving back.
