The Worldwide Association of Female Professionals Recognizes Yosefin Olmedo
Yosefin Olmedo is an experienced global coordinator for the information technology sector, currently serving as CSR – Corporate Governance and Diversity Manager of Softtek. With over 12 years of experience in her field and more than a decade of service to the company, for Softtek she serves as the primary point of contact for the sales team, explores ways to open doors and facilitate inclusion within the company and community. She is also project manager of the Integrity Report / Complain system, and designed the firm’s Leave a Mark Follow Up Program.
Previously at Softtek Yosefin worked her way up the ranks as Culture Trigger and Global Immigration Coordinator. She was co-founder of the area and helped to implement and create the Global Immigration team for the firm. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Journalism from the University of Nuevo Leon and studied Mexican Sign Language at EGADE Business School. Always keen to keep growing, she is currently preparing the final presentation to obtain +Talento Certification Focus on the Labor Inclusion of people of disabilities at EGADE Business School, currently taking the Certification TOP Agility & Accountability Professional by the WISEN Institute, and currently studying the Science of Well-Being by Yale University.
A strong believer in the need for social change to take place in the workplace, Yosefin is highly skilled in human resources, management, customer service, process improvement and writing. She is a volunteer and member of Pride Connection, and in the future wishes to move into a leadership role to further establish the set goals, continuing to serve not only the LGBTQ community. She is a sponsor of the Softtek Solidaria Foundation and Homosensual, the most visited Gay site in Spanish in Mexico and Latin America. Offering a different point of view about being Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Trans, it offers a welcome to a place that celebrates and supports all expressions of being gay, lesbian, bisexual or transsexual.
