The Worldwide Association of Female Professionals Recognizes Member Liana Bertsch

Liana Bertsch has over 15 years of finance experience and currently serves as Chief Financial Officer and Director of Vision Integrity Engineering, a post she has held for the last 3 years. As CFO, she ensures business development and drives strategy, and oversees marketing and corporate financial goals. Leveraging extensive experience blending her accounting, engineering and non-profit work to create internal and external change, Liana is an asset for startups to small, medium size companies seeking expert assistance with growth, short-term cash flow challenges, long-term vision, or sustainability. Her key areas of expertise include financial acumen, business development, strategy, sustainability, accounting, tax issues, and risk management.

Her career history demonstrates result-oriented business approach, in addition to strong communication and leadership skills. She prides herself on her background of value-added success and commitment to future growth.

Outside of her work with Vision Integrity, she established the non-profit organization Define the Future, where she leads an afterschool leadership program. She created business, innovation, and leadership curricula for children focused on activity-based interaction.

Liana holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Calgary. She is a CFA Charterholder and currently working towards a CPA designation. Looking ahead, she would like to move into a consulting, board of director role and to assist and learn from likeminded professionals. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other likeminded professionals, and gaining, pursuing her goal of becoming a strategic business leader and thinker.
