Ericka is a Brazilian lawyer, graduated at Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto. She has more the ten solid years working in the legal field, both at private enterprise and public sector. Currently she works as a Senior Environmental Lawyer at Parigot Solere Advogados. She was a Senior Lawyer on Mining and Environmental Law at Lafarge Brasil S.A. until May 2013, where she was legally responsible for all the mining and environmental issues of the more than 50 units of the group. Her performance was preventive, advisory and also litigious. She managed outsourced Law Firms, worked for the internal clients and performed close to the Regulatory Agencies. Before, she was a Lawyer at Mirabela Mineração do Brasil Ltda. where she initially worked at the labor and union field, following the disputes, managing outsourced law firms and answering internal law consults, as well as working with contracts, environmental, mining law and Compliance. Promoted to be Judicial Assistant of the CFO, she left labor rights and took on Corporate, Fiscal law and the revision of financial contracts and mining rights. Previously, she has taught Law for prep-students and she was partner at a law firm specialized in Civil and Labor Rights. She has also been a civil servant at the Justice Court of Minas Gerais for 6 years, in two Judicial Districts located in two mining cities, where she achieved positive results with the reduction of law suits at the judicial circuit, mainly regarding Civil law suits, but also regarding Criminal and Environmental.
