Building on a foundation of Clinical Nursing working in Australia and UK I added to my skills with studied marketing and public relations. I worked for 15 years in public affairs and marketing for worldwide pharmaceutical companies, healthcare & medical research organisations and government health departments running PR and health promotion campaigns, launching new pharmaceutical products and promoting medical research outcomes. Moving to the general medical practice industry I worked in corporate affairs, lobbying to all levels of Australian Governments and managing media relations.Completing a MBA opened the opportunity to move up to CEO level of several specialist medical colleges. Leadership of a commercial enterprise beckoned, to drive a private funded company. I spent three years establishing a string of general medical practices across Victoria.The next phase of my business career was driven by my passion for beautiful clothing and the arrival of my first granddaughter. An opportunity opened up to establish an couture house that markets exclusive high-end ready to wear clothing for girls 2-9 years old over the internet.
