The Worldwide Association of Female Professionals Recognizes Claudia Ferreira, MD

 
As the founder and owner of CF Medical Consulting, Dr. Claudia Ferreira is no stranger to action. She has two decades of experience in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors, and is an expert in cross-cultural and international clinical practice and developments. Most recently International Medical Lead for Biocodex, she is seasoned in all aspects of clinical research and medial affairs, from the animal research phase through clinical development and rollout.
 
After earning a Doctor of Medicine from UNC, Claudia went on to complete a postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Texas Medical School. She then attended the Faculté de Médecine Paris VII – Denis DIDEROT 5 in France, where she specialized in UD HIV infection and STDs. She launched her pharmaceutical career as Clinical Project Manager with GlaxoSmithKline in France, before serving as Disease Area Specialist for Bristol-Myers Squibb.
 
Claudia’s work has led her to the United States, Europe, Southern Asia and Latin America. Today, she called Paris, France home, and she speaks five languages: English, French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. When not engaged with work, she enjoys literature, geography and learning about different cultures. She is passionate about philanthropy and founded Da ti Seni, an organization for African women in France living with HIV and AIDS.
 
In addition to the WAoFP, Claudia is a member of the WGO and the World AIDS Association. Moving forward, she plans to continue worldwide networking, building and expand KOL’s networks internationally and medical consulting on the international level.
