The Worldwide Association of Female Professionals Recognizes Mariana Pollak

 
Mariana Pollak is the CEO at Punto Celeste, a leader in the invitations, event décor, and accessories industry for the weddings, special events, and party sector. Based in Lima, Peru, Mariana established the firm in 1996 and in the years since has taken countless events to the next level in creating the perfect party atmosphere and experience. She was honored in New York for her creativity as recipient of an international Louie Award nominee in the wedding invitations category.
 
Since 2011, her company has been licensed by UNICEF to design, produce and distribute the imprinted and digital Greeting and Christmas Cards in Peru, in aid of the children of the country.
 
Prior to her work in the design and events industry, Mariana worked in Romania and Israel as a civil engineer. She found that her civil engineering experience provided her with a unique understanding of behavior and combination of different supplies, and helped Mariana to become a pioneer in combining papers with textiles.
 
She holds a certificate from Miami University for services in conjunction with the Chemical Dependency Training Institute  and was founder and chairman of the Chamber of Events for Professionals in Lima. Looking ahead, Mariana is very interested in increasing the destination wedding industry in Peru, a country known for its beauty and attractions.
